The Health and Life Sciences sector
group was established in July 2002. Companies, individuals, organisations and
associations in the following areas of activity are invited to be involved:
- human health and wellbeing
- medicine including pharmacy
- animal health
- biological and biomedical sciences including genetics, biotechnology, virology,
biochemistry and molecular biology
- natural world and environment
- agriculture, food, forestry and fisheries science.
The
Group works together to develop the sector and specifically to overcome
barriers and exploit opportunities for growth.
