Norfolk County Council is represented across the partnership, both at Management Board level and at an operational level.
Between 2006-7 Norfolk County Council match-funded £1.8 million contributing to the delivery of a variety of projects across the county, including Breckland Community Economic Regeneration, Cromer Seafront and the Norfolk museums project,
The Council has also been a key funder and supporter of the development of enterprise centres, for example EPIC (the East of England Innovation Centre) and Hethel Engineering Centre.
In addition Orchard Toys was attracted to the county, creating 30 jobs for the area and professional advice, guidance and support was provided by Norfolk County Council's Economic Development Unit to help the company retain key staff, to make the move viable.
