Changes to this year’s EAME

EAME07 was a great success, and this is still being demonstrated by the comments coming from those who attended, made new business associates and customers, and not least from the news stories that still surface long after the event. (EDP March 18 2008)

For this year there will be a specially built ‘Exhibition Marquee’ for stand and exhibition space. This will house most of the exhibitors, and will be split into three halls.

Space is divided into rough stand spacing on the accompanying pdf document for illustration purposes only.

Hall 1, is for Heavy machine demonstrations, with 3 phase and easy access for fork lifts etc.

Hall 2 is open for all Engineering and Manufacturing.

Hall 3 is for SME’s and regional Economic development agencies to bring cluster groups, and support agencies.

The allocation of a refreshments section is still under review and current plans are for an external space with additional seating in a further Marquee.

All the main halls will have;

Aluminium panel security doors and fire escapes.

Mains electricity, for sockets every few metres.

Lighting.

Carpeted exhibition space (Hall 2 and 3 only)

(415V is available at request at cost to space in Halls 2 and 3)

Hethel Engineering Centre, has endeavoured to keep the cost of hosting EAME08 © to a minimum, and last year we were lucky enough to provide a successful event for regional and national delegates to attend for Free.

This year there is no change to that, and we shall endeavour to make EAME09 © -10 – 11 etc a free to attend event.

Following on from last years modest stands and spread out format a lot of stand holders suggested that we have the exhibition in one space or at least as close together as possible. This has lead to the Exhibition marquee. Hethel Engineering Centre through sponsorship has been able to reduce the potential cost to exhibitors and is offering space at the venue at £55+vat per square metre.

This we believe this represents fantastic value for all stand holders as well has continuing the ethic of free access for registered delegates.

Stand space gives your company the opportunity to showcase what your business is capable of. From services to actual products, business grows on the ability to touch feel and see the potential that you are offering.

The space can be bought in multiples of metres to give you the opportunity to display your business. (Arrangements must be made for Engineering machines and Plant with large foot prints, and display stands over 5metres).

Since last year, several businesses have been in contact with Hethel Engineering Centre to rebook for this year, so you may have to move quickly to get your pitch. Remember, this exhibition is for the region to help and support your business in the region!
