The Story

The Secretary of State for Transport and those stuck in traffic james on the A11 may be interested to learn of the range of important activities partners have recently taken to bring forward the dualling of one of Norfolk's key gateways.

Over the past three months, Shaping Norfolk’s Future (SNF) has been working jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Norfolk County Council to drive forward the start of the project to 2010, rather than 2012.

The Business

On October 17, the EDP hosted the 19th annual Business Awards, held in association with Porsche Centre Norwich.

The awards took place at the Holiday Inn Norwich Airport and Shaping Norfolk’s Future sponsored the Best New Business Award.

The Event

Now in its eleventh year, Shaping Norfolk’s Future’s (SNF) annual conference is a great opportunity for businesses to keep informed, learn and be challenged.

Free downloads of phrases, images and facts about Norfolk for use on websites, leaflets etc.

The Regional Economic Strategy recognised Greater Norwich as one of the East of England’s seven ‘engines of growth’ that will greatly contribute to the development of the regional economy.
